Welcome to LawDiscuss! We created Law Discuss because many of the leading legal websites on the internet cost money to use, and we thought we could create a better, higher quality place to get free general advice on legal issues. In addition, it's tough to pick out a lawyer or figure out the basic requirements of a legal question or who to hire. We are a group of attorneys and programmers hoping to change that with our site. Please let us know what you think and, if you like the site, tell your friends! Our goal is to answer every question on this site or at least point the question asker in the right direction. Law Discuss uses the Stack Exchange platform, a popular Q&A framework originally designed for programming questions and answers.
