I am in St Louis Missouri and wondering if it is possible to obtain the transcripts from a criminal trial that was heard in the St Louis Missouri County courts somewhere around 1993, I have the defendants name, DOB, SSN, the case no. and the DOC no. Am I able to obtain these and if so how?

Hi Gina, thanks for your question. Yes, you should be able to get a trial transcript if the records were kept. The easiest way to see if this is possible is to contact the court clerk at the court where the criminal trial was held. You will probably have to pay a fee per page for the actual transcript. I can only really guess where the trial was held but using a quick search I found the St Louis County Circuit Court Clerk's page at http://www.co.st-louis.mo.us/circuitcourt/circlerk.html. If you go ahead and call the Clerk's office you should be able to find someone that can put you in the right direction. Good luck!
